Whilst performing flight JL-759 from Tokyo Narita to Ho Chi Minh City with 194 passengers and crew , approx. 400nm southwest of Osaka when the crew noted a decreasing oil quantity on the number 1 engine and decided to divert to Osaka, however at FL230 the engine failed and was shutdown.

Whilst performing flight JL442 from Moscow Domodedovo to Tokyo Narita, the aircraft was climbing out of Domodedovo's runway 32L when the crew received indication the gear doors did not close. After working the checklists the crew stopped the climb at FL120 and returned to Domodedovo Airport for a safe landing on runway 32R about 30 minutes after departure.\r\n\r\The flight was cancelled.
