2013-09-28 Whilst performing flight LO-42 from Toronto to Warsaw, the aircraft was climbing out of Toronto when the crew stopped the climb at FL270 due to an issue with the Transponder. The continued towards Warsaw. The aircraft continued at FL270 and entered Oceanic Airspace across Greenland. The aircraft was about 130 nm west south west of Keflavik when the crew diverted to Keflavik, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 20 about 6 hours after departure from Toronto. The airline has reported that the transponder of the aircraft malfunctioned prompting Norway to not permit overflight of the aircraft.
