Whilst performing flight DY-7148 from Boston to London Gatwick, the aircraft was enroute at FL370 entering Irish radar coverage when the crew diverted to Shannon after being refused entry to United Kingdom Airspace due to NAV and Comms problems with the aircraft. Whilst on decent to Shannon, Shannon ATC Approach reported to the crew that the aircrafts MODE-C transponder signals where unreliable. At short time after this the crew contacted Shannon approach asking if the signals where now consistent which ATC did in fact confirm. The aircraft landed safely without any further issues on Shannon's Runway 06. The aircraft remained on the ground for over 11 hours whilst repairs took place, the aircraft then proceeded to London Gatwick at FL270 and landed with a delay of 11 hours 30 minutes. Aircraft was grounded for further repairs to the Transponders.
