The aircraft was performing flight AI-123 from Delhi to Rome and was enroute at FL400, over Albania and the Adriatic Sea into Italy without communications. The aircraft didn't squawk loss of control of 7700.. When the aircraft entered Italian Airspace two Eurofighter aircraft intercepted the aircraft to perform an identification. The fighter accompanied the craft to its landing airport. The aircraft landed without further incident. |
